Internet Lending Coordinator

The Internet Lending Coordinator will facilitate and deliver fast application turnaround time (from submission). Assisting the Residential and Consumer Lending Internet Manager by acting as point of contact for on-line mortgage applicants at each phase of the online application process, and serve as the primary back up to the RCL Internet Manager. Coordinate activities between customer and Loan Officer or Branch Loan Advisor. Underwrite pre-qualifications and make appropriate underwriting recommendations for same. Providing technical support and general administrative assistance in support of the Mortgage Residential and Consumer Lending Department.
Monitor and extract new Residential and Consumer loan applications submitted via the Internet and review for completeness. Extract new loan applications and review for completeness.
Export applicant's submission data from Mortgagebot into loan origination system for mortgage loans approved online.
Contact Loan Officer to initiate follow-up with applicant if submission indicates applicant is working with a specific Loan Officer.
Send electronic version of loan files to assigned Loan Officer; per established loan record status guidelines.
Coordinate the assignment of Loan Officer per established assignment procedures when no Loan Officer's name is recorded on the internet application.
Contact applicants whose financing needs could not be met online to determine which Loan Officer to whom the applicant should be assigned for follow-up (per established lead assignment guidelines), and then forward appropriate documentation to the Loan Officer for further analysis and follow-up.
Assign operations staff and service providers for processing of each loan application.
Process the over flow of both Residential and Home Equity Internet applications.
Coordinates the Underwriter and Vendor assignment of Residential and Consumer Lending application assignments using Access database.
Assists with website administration and maintenance.
Provide administrative assistance in support of the Residential and Consumer Lending Operations Department.
Minimum education level: Associate's degree or equivalent.
Thorough knowledge of on-line lending system and its capabilities.
Thorough knowledge of mortgage loan products.
Thorough knowledge of mortgage underwriting guidelines and mortgage industry regulations.
Thorough knowledge of mortgage loan documentation requirements.
Highly polished customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Two or more years of mortgage operations and/or mortgage origination experience.
Thorough knowledge of mortgage origination process, including ability to understand automated underwriting system findings and credit reports and explains contents to applicant.
Ability to work in a team environment under deadline pressure.
Must be highly organized and self-directed.
Must possess advanced computer knowledge and skills, including Microsoft Office applications, in particular, Access and Excel.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
